Warlock Leveling Guide – It Should Not Have To Be Difficult To Get To Level 80

By Orchish Humor On October 22, 2010 No Comments

Leveling a Warlock is easy. Their Demon Pets help out a lot but they also get a large variety of damage, fear and AoE spells helping to level them rapidly. The Warlocks Life Tap spell allows health to be turned into mana which allows casting without breaks. If you get low on health you can just use the Drain Life spell. The Demon pet helps by tanking and taking damage while you regenerate life and do damage. Please continue reading the rest of this warlock guide for more tips.

A Warlock’s two secret weapons are their ability to Create Healthstone’s and Soulstone’s. Soulstone’s allow you to resurrect to the spot you died instantly and Healthstone’s return your health instantly if you are getting low.

The place to start for the most effective leveling is with an Affliction tree. This will make things ridiculously easy for you, you’ll hit 80 before you know it.

Learning new spells and enhancing your DoT spells are simple things to do with this talent tree. Improving your Curse of Agony starts you off with this tree. If you want to increase your mana Suppression and Improved Drain Soul will achieve that. Soul Siphon and Improved Life Tap will keep your mana levels from depleting as quickly.

In order to increase your casting ability and speed you can use Amplify Curse and Fel Concentration. On top of that your range and spell damage will increase. If you are in a PvP realm then The Curse of Exhaustion is a great option. Siphon Life and Shadow Mastery are also perks of this talent tree.

Unstable Affliction and Haunt are two other great damage spells and improving your Felhunter will help with Dark Pact. Don’t make a mistake here, there’s nothing better than what you’re reading right now.

After you get to Northrend it’s a good idea to switch your talent tree to a Demonology – Affliction mix.

This build is all about the Felguard and Siphon Life abilities. You can improve your Demon Pets while you use your DoT’s for damage. As stated earlier, your Affliction build will give you health gains as well as let you convert mana, meaning there is no down time for a warlock.

The Demonology build eats up too much mana to level you quickly which is why is should be added second. The Affliction tree though is ideal for conserving your mana and dealing damage. You can

By Orchish Humor On October 4, 2010 No Comments

Whether you are brand spanking new to the game or you have been playing for a little while, you’ll possibly remember a lot of the excitement that came around when World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King was released. World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King was a second growth that came out, where The Burning Crusade was the first, and like The Burning Crusade, this growth made a great deal more game content. When you decide to play World of Warcraft, you don’t have to buy anything outside the basic game, but there is plenty the expansions have to give. Just like The Burning Crusade unlocked 2 new player races, World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King opened up some new and interesting options to the players.

First, this growth raised the level cap from 70 to eighty, expanding the game and providing more end game content. This change was further complemented with the addition of a totally new continent to explore. Just like The Burning Crusade added the Outlands, Wrath of the Lich King added Northrend, a continent that lies above the Eastern dominions and Kalimdor. True to the name, the continent is legendary for the snow and ice. Characters may opt to enter Northrend thru any quantity of places and the continent itself can be accessed thru hollering Fjord, Valgarde, Borean Tundra and Valiance Keep.

World of Warcraft Guides – How To Quickly Get Loot And Master Missions

By Orchish Humor On October 27, 2009 No Comments

Many people struggle when first staring out in an online game, and one of the best peices of advice is for them to follow the lead of more experienced players. Rather than struggle through on their own, new players should reach for the knowledge of experienced players – and World of Warcraft guides are the best way to do this.

Following a World of Warcraft guide gives you the chance to quickly level up a character, grabbing some sweet loot along the way. Gaining levels in World of Warcraft is often boring and time consuming. Quickly levelling up a new character is the aim of many new players, desperate to avoid the grind and get stuck in to the challenges that away high level World of Warcraft characters.

Luckily there are a number of World of Warcraft guides available to choose from. From the very basic high level overview, through to incredibly detailed step by step walkthroughs that cover all relevant aspects of the game. Each character type, whether Horde or Alliance, is served by a guide, and they are all regularly updated to keep on top of patch changes.

The usual way to gain levels in WoW is by grinding. Repeatedly killing the same enemies or completing the same mission again and again is known as grinding. Although you can gain lots of experience and some loot by grinding, it is incredibly boring. Faced with having to grind to gain a few more levels, many players despair. The grind in WoW removes all the fun of the game and quickly puts off newer players who aspire to own rare loot and compete in large, challenging raids.

World of Warcraft guides choose specific quests to help you gain the most experience in the shortest space of time. Focussed on solo play, a side effect of most guides is that they teach you a lot about the mechanics of the game, helping you become a more accomplished player. Understanding the core features of WoW is the key to quickly conquering the more difficult quests.

The real question is – why do you play the game? Is it to meet up with friends? For enjoyment? To escape the pressues of life, living within the fantasy world of Azeroth? Why waste your game time grinding away on the same boring quests and tasks, when you could be enjoying the real risks and rewards of

Druid PVP Feral Spec

By Collapsar On August 4, 2009 1 Comment

Druids are awesome at PvP. Their healing in tree is unmatched, and druids all in all are extremely hard to kill. I have done some research on the EJ forums and have come up with a feral druid PvP spec.

In order for you to be good at feral pvp though, you have to know a few things. Always use shred. This attack will do major damage, and when combined with mangle, this will pack one heck of a punch.  Another thing is that you want to have Savage roar up because it increases your damage by 30 % for x seconds depending on how many combo points you used.

There is a lot more information on the EJ forums. Be sure to look there before you get all crazy in pvp! Click here to continue reading
