Druid PVP Feral Spec

Druids are awesome at PvP. Their healing in tree is unmatched, and druids all in all are extremely hard to kill. I have done some research on the EJ forums and have come up with a feral druid PvP spec.

In order for you to be good at feral pvp though, you have to know a few things. Always use shred. This attack will do major damage, and when combined with mangle, this will pack one heck of a punch.  Another thing is that you want to have Savage roar up because it increases your damage by 30 % for x seconds depending on how many combo points you used.

There is a lot more information on the EJ forums. Be sure to look there before you get all crazy in pvp!

Druid Resto Healing Spec

Druids are  arguably one of the best healing classes in the game. Druid’s focus on HoTs (Healing over Time) spells. They are really well doing main tank healing and raid healing. They are also very much sought after in raids because of their battle rez which can usually save a fight (it has done wonders for me).

Yet the spec between one druid healer and another is different due to play-style. Some like to spam quick healing touches, or they HoT everyone and help on MT heals, which is where their true power of  healing is. This spec is the spec I use for druid healing, and it has worked wonders for me (I do HoT’s). I can out heal almost everyone (except those darn paladin healers :P )

Protection Pally- The Build

There are many different builds for each class, some are wonderful, some not so much. Right now I will be focusing on the protection paladin- Prot pally for short-. This build is a build I have made, tested, and found to be very good.

For a prot pally, you want to go into the retribution tree just a little bit. This will help establish a steady rotation to pump out as much tps -threat per second- as possible. The more threat you do, the less chance a dps or healer will pull aggro, and if that happens, your going to have to work more at it and practice.

If you have any other builds for the pally, just post it and I’ll check it out!

Also, don’t be afraid to try variations of this build, find one that goes with how you like to play.

Equipment: Check On It

Most people say that equipment is not needed until you are raiding and doing some heroics. I say that is completely false.  Equipment is probably one of the most important things there is almost right next to skill. You can find all equipment in the game at www.wowhead.com

Here are just a few reasons:

  1. Good equipment helps you kill things faster, efficiently, with maybe a little bruise here and there, and if they can get past those beastly defenses of yours, they might cause a small dent. What does all this really mean? This means that you will save money on those costly repair bills because you aren’t going to die so many times if you have killer gear than if you had all greens.
  2. Equipment helps you to unlock just what you can do. From personal experience, I have noticed a big change in how my character performed once I got some really nice gear. I was able to take on 5 mobs and only go down to maybe half health because my gear helped me stay alive in a long drawn out fight which helped to show me my true potential with my character.
  3. Gear helps make you look very nice. I mean who doesn’t want to go out with a guy that has good looking gear and can protect you from those evil monsters.

Yet I feel I need to say this before you all go crazy and buy all the gear in sight. Don’t worry about gear until your at least 30. Instance and quest reward gear is probably the only big thing you will get until your 30-35.
